Rules
outchess.lol is a public chessboard with 32 pieces, ranked by what each holder paid. A piece links to the company that holds it and counts every click. There is no revenue share and no auction clock. You pay for a piece, and it is yours until someone pays more.
Prices

Whole US dollars, one-time, $999,999 maximum. Nothing renews. You can pay more than the opening price or the minimum capture price; a higher amount ranks higher and is harder to outbid.
Captures
An open piece costs at least its opening price. A held piece can be captured by anyone who pays at least $1 more than the holder paid. The buttons on the page default to that, but the amount is yours to choose. The captured company loses the piece and moves to the Captured rail, where they can retake it the same way. Money already paid is not returned or credited.
Ranking
The board is ranked by what each holder paid, highest first. Ties go to the piece with more clicks, then to whoever got there first. The Today view ranks by clicks since midnight UTC. When all 32 pieces are held, the board is full, and the only way on is to capture one.
Holds
Starting a checkout holds the piece for 15 minutes so two companies cannot pay for the same piece. Holds expire on their own. A completed payment is what claims the piece.
What you can list
A product website or an X @handle. Query strings and tracking parameters are removed. Link shorteners are replaced by the URL they point to.
Not allowed: chat and invite links (Telegram, WhatsApp, Discord, Messenger, Signal and similar), sexual or adult content, and anything that is not a product or a profile. We remove listings that break this without refund.
Clicks
Every click on your piece, your roster row or your details page goes through outchess.lol and is counted, then sent to the URL or profile you listed. Website links get utm_source=outchess.lol added so you can see the traffic in your own analytics.
Payments
A completed payment is what claims a piece. Payments are not refundable. If two payments for the same piece at the same price ever complete, the first one keeps it and the second is returned. That is the only case where money comes back.
